Carroll Kelly

Carroll Kelly graduated from Austin High School in 1999, where he was an All-District shortstop.  He received a scholarship to play baseball at Sam Houston State University in 1999, and went on to play 160 games at shortstop, second, and third base.  

In 2002, Coach Kelly led the Bearkats in hitting with a .310 average.  In four seasons, Carroll had a .967 fielding percentage.

From 1999 to 2004, Carroll played in over 100 collegiate summer league games.

He has coached extensively at highly-reputable baseball camps, including:

  • Spike Owen & Cliff Gustafson's Legend's Baseball Camps
  • Sam Houston State University Baseball Camps
  • TASBA Baseball Camps

Since 2009, Coach Kelly has periodically run infielding and baserunning clinics for kids and coaches through TASBA.
